I receive lots of lovely letters and Christmas cards and thought I would like to share the comments of one new mum “ ... I just really wanted to thank you for all the happiness you have provided for us by letting us have such a lovely puppy ... “ Rita John, Gloucester |

A requirement of having one of my puppies is that new mums and dads keep in touch sending the occasional photo. All understand they can phone me at any time if they are unsure of anything. Everyone rings me within a day or two to tell me all is all right! |

Between 7 and 8 weeks the puppies are ready to embark upon another great adventure - going to start a new life with their new family. I always make sure I have a photo of each puppy as they leave! |

The move outside is greeted with awe. It is a VERY big world out there!. I miss having constant cuddles while they were inside so just have to spend a lot of time outside with them! I encourage perspective new mums & dads to visit frequently - that way puppies get used to meeting people. |

I always find it an exciting time when there is a litter in the house. A week or so before the due date the whelping box is assembled in the kitchen to await the imminent arrival. Mum and pups then stay in there until about 4 weeks, by which time their eyes are open and they are running around. |
