Like all my dogs Velvet is a good all rounder constantly winning first at both open shows and being placed in Championship Shows. She comes picking up with us all - however it depends on her mood if she retrieves birds or tells her sister where they are! |

Velvet produced her first litter in October 1999 to Stanroph Squadron Leader. As you can see in this photo she likes to let her sister help! One of those puppies is doing very well in the show ring and has gone on to qualify for Crufts. |

Her second litter, to Rosaceae Ideal Forecast at Purbarn were all wonderful, 2 girls and 5 boys. All now with their new families - all enjoying life to the full! |

They are, however, very different in temperament. Velvet is very laid back - not a lot fazes her! She is extremely loving, is constantly smiling and in her element when our friends’ children come over to play! |

Velvet, or Hareswith Academy Award is litter sister to Grace. When I decided to keep a bitch from Heidi’s first litter I simply couldn’t decide between Grace or Velvet. So David suggested we keep both for a year and see which was the better. Well - that was a number of years ago now - so I guess they are both staying! |
